After, I graduated from high school I moved to live with my cousin in Bangkok. This did not change things much because I was still the one chosen to cook. Most of the people who lived with my cousin did not like cooking and they had money to buy cooked foods, but I did not. I only got a little money from my mom. She was a single parent and had very little to spare. But I enjoyed preparing and cooking for them and they loved everything I made. My mom also cooked Chinese food. She taught me many secrets for preparing the ingredients and cooking the Chinese way.
